All employees deserve a working life that suits their wishes and ambitions, and all customers expect their needs to be met.
In our surveys, we are therefore trying to get as close as possible to the individual employee and customer with due regard to the requirement for anonymity. Employees and customers are satisfied when there is a reasonable balance between satisfaction and motivation/loyalty. Through systematic work, you can create this balance for most people, which will result in very valuable employees and customers.
The art of moderation
Optimisation means that job satisfaction and customer loyalty should be at a level where employees and customers feel comfortable and are not actually expressing any pressing needs for changes. In such a situation, there is no reason to continue the work just to score top ratings in the surveys. Instead, it makes much more sense to maintain the level and make efforts in other areas such as innovation, increased sales, LEAN programmes etc. In other words, the aim is to translate the results of the survey into as much job satisfaction and customer loyalty as possible, at the lowest possible cost.
