A 360° survey is an action-oriented tool for identifying and evaluating the individual manager’s strengths and opportunities for development.
 
The survey evaluates the individual manager on a factual and action-oriented basis, and produces input on that person’s future professional and personal development.

A 360° survey provides the individual manager with holistic feedback on his or her behaviour. This is a behaviour-focused evaluation from the relevant stakeholders with which he or she relates in everyday work (see illustration).
